Terms of Use
Last updated: April 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the SOC 2 Report Quality Analyzer (“Service”) provided by ComplianceBot Inc. (DBA Trenta) (“Trenta,” “we,” “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
The Service allows users to explore pre-scored SOC 2 audit report quality data and, optionally, upload their own SOC 2 reports for automated quality analysis. The analysis is performed using a combination of deterministic rule-based checks and AI-assisted semantic evaluation powered by third-party large language model services.
3. Report Upload and Processing
When you upload a report for scoring, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your uploaded report file is stored temporarily in server memory during the analysis process and deleted immediately upon completion. We do not retain, archive, or store the original report file.
- Excerpts of your report will be sent to Anthropic's Claude API for AI-assisted semantic analysis. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their API terms and does not use it for model training.
- We retain scoring results and metadata from your submission, including: overall score, grade, pillar scores, signal-level findings, report type, company name (as extracted from the report), submission timestamp, and a hashed (non-reversible) version of your IP address. This data is used for service improvement, analytics, and research purposes.
- You have the right and authorization to submit the report for analysis. You represent that the upload does not violate any confidentiality agreement, NDA, or other contractual obligation.
- Scoring results are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional audit, legal, or compliance advice.
4. Data Privacy
We do not retain your uploaded report file after scoring is complete. The original document is deleted from our servers immediately upon completion of the analysis. We do not sell, share, or distribute uploaded report content.
We do retain scoring results and submission metadata (as described in Section 3). This data does not include the original report text. Aggregate, anonymized scoring data (such as score distributions and signal statistics) may be used to improve the Service and for research purposes.
If you provide contact information through the lead capture form, it will be processed in accordance with our privacy practices and used solely for communications related to Trenta products and services.
5. Accuracy and Limitations
The scoring methodology is based on the SOC 2 Quality Guild's Reliability Rubric v1.0 and our implementation thereof. Scores are automated assessments and may not capture all qualitative aspects of a report. Results should be considered as one input among many when evaluating SOC 2 report quality.
Trenta makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the scoring results. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
6. Intellectual Property
The scoring rubric is based on work by the SOC 2 Quality Guild, used under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. The Service implementation, including the scoring engine, visualizations, and user interface, is the property of ComplianceBot Inc. (DBA Trenta)
Company names in the pre-scored dataset have been anonymized. Any resemblance to actual company names is coincidental.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to process reports you do not have authorization to analyze.
- Attempt to circumvent usage limitations or access controls.
- Use automated tools to submit large volumes of reports without prior authorization.
- Misrepresent scoring results as official audit opinions or professional assessments.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComplianceBot Inc. (DBA Trenta) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
